These decomposition products arise during operation through arcing in moist or impure SF6 gas. In order to detect even the smallest leakages or to warn ahead of gas emissions, we have a range of high-quality gas detectors and emission monitors. Self-sealing valves and permanently gas-tight connections take care that no environmentally hazardous SF6 gas escapes, but rather remains safely in its designated containers.
